25 Mile Cycle Ride
For Christian Aid.

Gus successfully completed the Chipping Sodbury 25 mile
Bike Ride last Sunday, it was rather windy but enjoyable
ride. John Davis was at the start taking photographs, I
hope that he has at least one with me in, that I can get a
copy of for your viewing. If you sponsored me I would be
grateful if you could pass me the money or a cheque made
payable to “Christian Aid” as soon as possible.

Missing Photographs

Do you know the whereabouts of some photographs that
were used during the Flower Festival showing displays
from the previous flower festival. If you can help please
contact one of the wardens.

Christian Aid Week Update

A big thank you to all who helped during Christian Aid
Week. We have completed all the paperwork and can
declare that the amount raised was Ł7914.91. All the
money has been received by Christian Aid, to support their
work with the people in need around the world.
Please pick up one of the new Christian Aid Magazines for
details of where the work is currently ongoing.

How does your garden grow?

Well the St. Mary's "garden" is growing very quickly...can
you see yourself giving a few hours each month? Please
let me know if you are interested in working in the
churchyard and we will get a rota going. We need to know
the times that best suit you and then match those times up
to when the church is already open...such as Open
Saturdays, Tuesday's Lunch-time prayer, Saturday
mornings, Thursday mornings, and more.

Missing File: Does anyone know the whereabouts of a
file about St Mary’s, a record of the Church from the late
70’s. It is a black file with a green edge. It has some very
special pictures of the Church. Please contact Christine if
you know where it is.

CREDA CONVECTION OVEN.
FOR SALE

St.Mary's was given a convection oven for which it currently
has no use. Never used by St. Mary's it looks in good
condition and is believed to function correctly.

It is available for inspection and no reasonable offer will be
refused. The proceeds will go to St Marys. The buyer must
collect.

Outreach.

Thanks for your weekly generosity by bringing tins of food.
Thank you also to Gaye & Norman and Peter for delivering
them to "The Sisters Of The Church". St. Mary's is now
becoming a monthly visitor to this special outreach project.
Please keep bringing those tins.

EVENTS.

St. Mary's Open Day
12th July

So now that you have all honed your catering skills, I'm
asking for lots of help on Saturday 12 July. The Heritage
Centre is hosting it's Annual International Day and
St. Mary's is open for coffees, teas, and tower visits.

So come and show me all your skills! And for the woman
or man who would rather exercise that day, join the Tower
Team. All help wanted and needed so please call me

Daybreak.

During the holidays, there will not be a DAYBREAK
service dring August.
We will begin again on the 14th September.

Early Bird will still happen on the first Sunday in August.

4th October and is open to all.
