November's Meetings & Events.

Saturday 15th November; We are serving a Soup & Crumble Lunch, from
11:00am - 2:00pm in St. Mary's.

Advent Quiet Day at St. Mary's lead by the Rev. Pauline Green. 10:00am -
12:00 Tuesday 25th November. This will be followed by a Bring & Share
Lunch. Details from Christine Dolton & Mavis Lawton.

Branch News.

Thanks to all those who helped with our Jumble Sale on Saturday 4th October,
either with help on the day or by donating things to sell. At the last count we
raised around Ł55 profit which will be donated to MU projects supporting
families in our link countries Overseas and in the Bristol Diocese and towards
the MU relief fund which provides aid in disaster hit areas of the world. For

Welcome to the web-page of the Saint Mary's Church, Yate branch of the
Mothers' Union, the worldwide organisation helping to provide Christian
care for families everywhere. We support, through prayer, fundraising and
practical help many MU projects locally and overseas. The MU in St.
Mary's is growing and lively. and we look forward to welcoming new
members.

Our Branch Meetings are usually held on the third Thursday
of the month at St. Mary’s Church Yate at 2pm Details of forthcoming

At each meeting, we have a short service with prayers, hymn and Bible
reading. We normally have a speaker and tea and biscuits afterwards. We
support, through prayer and fundraising many MU projects locally and
overseas.
